SALVADOREAN MEDICAL EXPERIENCE DENTAL CARE - 1st Trip
Day 1 - Airport - San Salvador - 35 mins
Upon arrival to the airport, one of our representatives will meet and assist you to your hotel destination in the city, San Salvador
Day 2 - First diagnostic - City Tour - 8 hours
In the morning, Dr Lorenzana will evaluate your treatment, taking x-rays and impressions if necessary, and going over the procedures for your surgery the following day. This appointment is approximately 3 hours.
After the diagnostic appointment, we will visit the main streets and monuments of San Salvador including the sites of the historic city center;The Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Palace, National Theatre and Anthropology Museum. Next we will travel into the mountains(12.4 miles) to visit Planes de Renderos, and La Puerta del Diablo, a natural rock formation with a panoramic view of the San Vicente volcano and Lake Ilopango. We will also use this opporunity to enjoy one of El Salvador's most popular national dishes for lunch, the pupusa. After our tour, you will be returned to your hotel.
Day 3 - Dental Treatment - 8 hours
Transfer to Lorenzana Dental Center for your complete dental treatment with Dr. Rafael Lorenzana, the only trained Certified by the American Board of Prothodontics in Central and South America and a pioneer in the development of Osseintegrated Implantology in the area. Evening free to recover from treatment.
Day 4 - Lorenzana Dental Service + Archeological Boquerón - 6 hours
| Early in the morning, return to Lorenzana Dental Center to a post treatment control. Then visit the imposing Volcano of San Salvador, the crater known as Boquerón (15.5 mi), enjoy a refreshing ecotouristic walk trough the nature and trails. Then go to the Black Sea (an area covered by lava, now volcanic rock, thrown out by el Boquerón). |

Later, transfer to the Pompeii of America, the archaeological site Joya de Cerén, World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1993. Joya de Cerén was covered by the explosion of the Loma Caldera volcano. This explosion allowed to keep the remains of the pre-Hispanic civilization for hundreds of year. Back to San Salvador.
Day 5 - Colonial & Volcano Route - 8 hours
Visit The Volcanoes National Park (46.6 mi aprox) and sightseeing of Cerro Verde, Izalco Volcano, Ilamatepec Volcano and Coatepeque Lake. Then, visit the coffee mountains of El Salvador and the artisan towns of Apaneca, Ataco and Nahuizalco. Back to San Salvador.
Day 6 - Transfer Out - 35 mins
| Three hours before flight departure to the Handicraft Market of San Salvador to make the last shopping of the voyage. Transfer to Airport of El Salvador. Have a nice Trip! End of our services. |
